What we collect
| Where | Data | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Signing up as a walker (For walkers) | E-mail, postcode, language and the sentence you accepted | Until the message is sent, at most 365 days |
| Tell me when the area opens (Cities) | E-mail, postcode, area, language and the sentence you accepted | Until the message is sent, at most 365 days |
| Contact form on a flyer’s page | Name, e-mail, phone, message and the sentence you accepted | 90 days after the campaign ends |
| Scanning a QR code | The time and a hash of the browser type. No name, address or location. | For the campaign’s results; no separate deletion time is set yet |
| Signing in with a one-time code | E-mail or phone number, a hash of the code and of the network. With Google, only the e-mail Google has verified. | 1 day |
| Staying signed in | The session: the browser or app name, when it started and was last used | Until you sign out or 60 days unused, then 30 more days |
To stop misuse of the forms and of sign-in we keep only a hash of the IP address, never the address itself.
The site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser keeps only the theme you chose and, when you sign in, your sign-in.
What it is used for
Sign-up details are used to tell you, in one message, when your area has jobs or opens — nothing else. A contact form’s details are seen only by the advertiser whose page you left them on, to answer you. Of scans, the advertiser sees counts only. Sign-in details identify you and carry the one-time code.
How long it is kept
The retention times are in the table above. A sign-up is deleted as soon as its one message has been sent, and after a year at the latest. A contact form is deleted automatically when the time is up.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data and object to its use. If you think your data is handled unlawfully, you can complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman.
